Inside Rent the Runway's First West Coast Boutique in The Valley

As promised, Rent the Runway debuted its first west coast boutique in the Valley this past weekend. Landing at Westfield Topanga's open-air sister center The Village, the shop serves as an IRL way to browse and borrow the designer rental service's online closet.

Spanning 1,500 square feet, the space offers dresses, gowns, special occasion separates and jumpsuits, bags, and jewelry from over 350 designers, including Proenza Schouler, Red Valentino, 10 Crosby Derek Lam, Rachel Zoe, Trina Turk, and more. On top of taking home four- or eight-day rentals the same day, shoppers can schedule to pick up their goods on a future date; they can also check out the location's RTR Now page online to see what's available that same day before heading over to the store.

Services include personal styling sessions (45 minutes for $30 or one hour for $40) and in-store pickup, exchanges, and returns for online orders.

Rent the Runway is open Sunday through Thursday from 11am to 8pm and Friday and Saturday from 10am to 9pm.
