Well, that was quick. Taking over Equipment's former shop on Melrose Place is L.A.-based basics brand Madhappy, which is bringing its super-optimistic tees, sweats and more to not one, but two stylish shopping stretches.

Open as of the beginning of June and running through July 31 (10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily), the label's outposts in West Hollywood (8459 Melrose Pl.) and Venice (1420 Abbot Kinney) stock colorful women's and men's tees, french terry sweaters and sweatpants, shorts, snapback hats, tote bags, and more accessories from its classics line ($10 to $175) alongside its So Sorry No Wifi collection ($60 to $180) and exclusive Heavyweight shorts, T-shirts, and hoodies ($60 to $225).

To inspire maximum happiness (and selfies), Madhappy's Melrose Place space even houses a hidden "Self-Reflection Chamber" within the rock garden in the back of the store. (The brand had previously popped up on the luxe street a few doors down.) The Venice space is decked out like a zen garden, complete with more gravel, and slatted wooden flooring and fixtures, while Jon & Vinny's is also stationed outside serving free ice cream.
