From workouts for your face and VR-powered therapy to cellulite-banishing massages from France and Philippines-inspired beauty studios, you'd be hard-pressed to find a void yet to be filled in Los Angeles' self-care scene. A new social wellness club has managed to do just that: Enter Remedy Place, West Hollywood's newest membership-based club that's open to all.

The holistic healthcare haven is helmed by Dr. Jonathan Leary, whose clientele includes actress Frieda Pinto, fashion insiders (including Hudson Jeans founder Peter Kim, True Religion founder Kym Gold, and Lth Jkt founder Andrew Pollard), Olympians, and other bosses in tech, fitness, and beyond. Founded on an "Eastern medicine-based approach to healing and homeostasis," the non-traditional medical clinic houses a healthy Nutritional Bar, a meditation room, a hyperbaric chamber, and cryotherapy services — and that's just the beginning.

The goal? "To radically change the way society integrates education into wellness. Our current healthcare model is dependent and reactive, but I believe people should be independent and proactive," explains Leary in a statement. "This can only be done through education. I want people to take back control, to utilize incredible technologies that exist today to keep their bodies in a healthy state of balance through preventative care that counteracts these stressors, so they don't build up and push their health over the edge."

Dr. Leary holds a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island as well as a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences. This education has given him an extensive foundation in the fields of anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, clinical nutrition, and rehabilitation – all of which has informed the Remedy Place experience.

Remedy Place focuses on the "7 Elements of Balance": Mind, Oxygen, Movement, Nutrients, Cold, Heat, and Compression. Staff includes a range of experts including wellness and naturopathic doctors, nurse practitioners, and Leary, who holds a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island and a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from USC. Translation: His experience in anatomy, clinical nutrition, neuroscience, physiology, and rehabilitation are all evident in the wellness sanctuary's body-balancing offerings.

At the Lounge & Nutritional Bar, expect Nutritional Bartenders to serve up alcohol-free cocktails, cold-pressed juices, and healthy fare whipped up with ingredients like turmeric (for treating inflammation) and oregano oil (which boosts the immune system). As far as mind/body treatments, Recovery Specialists work with club members to create a personalized treatment plan, whether it's via yoga, IV drips, vitamin injections, sound baths, hyperbaric chamber oxygen therapy, guided meditations, lymphatic drainage massage, or cryotherapy, to name just a few.

There are also Rebalance Antidotes like the Rest Day ($200), a post-gym recovery regimen that includes cryotherapy, movement therapy, and hyperbaric chamber oxygen therapy; the Morning After ($175), which combines cryotherapy, infrared sauna, and lymphatic drainage to combat hangovers; or the Post-LAX ($200), which helps rebalance the body after jet lag via hyperbaric chamber oxygen therapy, infrared sauna, and an ice bath with breathwork. Others include the sleep-boosting REM Cycle, the stress-reducing Mind Moment, the immunity-building Defense, and the pick-me-up Energy Boost, among others.

Even the wabi-sabi interiors were designed for maximum sensory well-being. Dreamed up by L.A. interior design firm Bells + Whistles, the decadently dark yet inviting space features plenty of indoor greenery, warm lighting set to about 2700K to cut down on relaxation-reducing blue light, and a specific sound frequency of 7.83hz known as the Schumann Resonance that helps keep guests grounded. A 40hz frequency helps boost Gamma brainwave activity for peak grey matter performance. Cool, right?

The anti-spa didn't neglect audiophiles, either. Remedy Place also tapped audio experts Master & Dynamic (which also developed NeueHouse's microphone system) to create mindful mixes that play on their state-of-the-art headphones while guests enjoy services.

As far as pricing, monthly memberships start at $495 and include unlimited cryotherapy and meditation and stretch classes, as well as one IV treatment and "Element" (hyperbaric chamber oxygen therapy, infrared sauna, or lymphatic drainage massage) per month, plus access to expert-led panels, workshops, seminars, and other events. The bar and lounge are open to everyone, as are the educational and interactive classes ($30 per session).
