Re/Done is making it easier for Los Angeles' eco-minded denim denizens to restock their off-duty closets. The model-loved label has settled by the coast for its first-ever store, which quietly debuted in November at Malibu Lumber Yard.
Surrounded by stylish neighbors such as Maxfield, Intermix, and James Perse, the 200-square-foot shop offers the cult-favorite brand's refashioned essentials. Think Levi's jeans, Hanes tees spun from recycled fabrics, upcycled face masks, and other effortlessly cool silhouettes beloved by the likes of Bella and Gigi Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, Selene Gomez, Kendall Jenner, and other stars.
Also on shelves is Re/Done's first-ever line of earth-friendly sneakers ($425 to $495), which launched in mid-November. The collection is inspired by silhouettes from the '70s through the '90s, and the brand says they're all made using "an exclusive 100% nylon leather and suede alternative."
There's more: The tiny (yet apparently well-stocked) space features an IRL corner dedicated to Re/Done's online Marketplace, a curation of vintage womenswear and menswear (think leather jackets and playful graphic tees), rare denim, eyewear, cashmere accessories, and books, plus a selection of statement-making vintage jewelry from Rose Bowl Flea Market favorite Worn Over Time.
For those not ready for that scenic drive to the 'Bu, you'll be happy to know that another L.A. outpost is in the works. Re/Done is also eyeing Melrose Avenue, where it's expected to open its L.A. flagship early next year, reportsWomen's Wear Daily.
