Bulgaria's most famous footwear has officially landed in Los Angeles. By Far has opened its first-ever flagship in the world on Melrose Place, just steps from a slew of stylish new shops.
Spanning approximately 2,150 square feet, the boutique debuted in March features the cult-favorite label's minimalist-chic accessories known for being tucked beneath the armpits of Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, Sophie Turner, Hailey Bieber and other stars. Expect By Far's famed Amber, Rachel, Mini, Billy and Manu bags in vibrant patent leather and croc-embossed styles, plus effortlessly cool sandals, heels, boots, loafers and belts.
Founded in 2016 by twin sisters Valentina Ignatova and Sabina Gyosheva and their best friend Denitsa Bumbarova (who collaborate from Sofia, London and Sydney), the '90s-inspired label tapped multi-disciplinary design studio De-Yan and Bureau Betak Paris to dream up the interiors, which was inspired by By Far's online presence.
The space features modern white walls, vintage furnishings and imperial green and marble travertine stones that mirror the brand's signature croc pattern, while industrial-inspired pops of sunshine yellow and orange nod to By Far's bold hues. Other interior highlights include decor by Rodi Studio and Italian sculptor and painter Lino Bersani.
The brand fêted its first brick-and-mortar with a starry grand opening party in June that drew Emma Roberts, Rachel Leigh Cook, Tallulah and Scout Willis, Elsa Hosk, Soko and more. To top it all off, Maya Rudolph surprised the crowd with a live performance as half of Princess, the Prince cover bandshe formed with longtime pal Gretchen Lieberum.
