If you're wondering why The Nice Guy has been unusually devoid of paparazzi as of late, it's probably because they're buzzing around a new restaurant in town. Architects of nightlife H.wood Group have unveiled Delilah, a hybrid lounge that promises drinking, sit-down dining, and dancing under a single stylish roof.
A throwback to the glamorous Roaring '20s, the West Hollywood space features Art Deco design touches with a modern twist — like crystal chandeliers, crushed velvet seating, and gold accents throughout — and a modern American menu "with soul." As far as courses, expect starters like grilled baby artichokes with herb butter and chicken tenders served with spicy BBQ sauce, while entrees include Tony's Famous Babyback Ribs (with special sauce, of course) and chicken paillard.
Non-meaters will be happy to know that there's also vegan menu: portobello mushroom "steak" is just one of three options. And, perhaps undeniable proof of It Models' far-reaching influences, sweet toothed-guests can enjoy Kendall's Slutty Brownie, a dessert made with Oreos, chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate fudge and topped with ice cream. Following dinner, fashionable foodies will enjoy "lounge-style bottle service," live music, and "surprise nightly acts."
The reservation- and supper-only restaurant is open daily from 6pm to 2pm; book your next night out online here or by emailing reservations@delilahla.com.
