Fitness fiends will soon have another option for fashionable workout gear on Melrose. Athletic wear giant Lululemon is relocating to Melrose Avenue next Tuesday, November 22nd, less than a sprint away from its original outpost on Robertson Boulevard.
Landing in the West Hollywood Design District, the 2,750-square-foot boutique will feature minimalist interiors with natural accents, like a living plant installation, reclaimed red wood, and ivy leaf-inspired patterns throughout. Lululemon also teamed with a host of local designers to help dream up the space, including high-tech architecture and design firm Arktura, modern furnishings brand Bend Goods (which is known for its sleek geometric wire seating), and 5 Feet From The Moon (which created concrete community picnic table for the store).
As far as what's on shelves, expect to find the luxe activewear brand's yoga leggings, running clothing, sports bras, and more stylish sweat apparel and accessories made from technical fabrics; plus, the shop will debut Lululemon's limited-edition Featherlight collection (which features Brazilian textile artist Janaina Milheiro's digitally-designed prints) on Black Friday.
