A Celeb Hairstylist and A Former Pro Boxer Open BOMANE, Bev Hills' Coolest New Salon

BOMANE Salon isn't just changing up the 'dos of its stylish clients — it's also given a Beverly Hills historic landmark its own beauty makeover. Open as of this past April, the new salon took over an architectural gem on low-key Wilshire Boulevard, bringing good vibes via hidden crystals and more to the 3,600-square-foot space.

Founded by celebrity hairstylist and extensions guru Andrea Jaclyn and her partner, former pro boxer-turned-model Sonny Henty, the modern beauty spot eschews the bustle of Rodeo Drive in favor of its central but hassle-free location. "We feel we are like the 'Arts District' of Beverly Hills," says Jaclyn, who's known for giving clients (including Sharon Stone, Kesha, Lisa Vanderpump, and more) effortless "Victoria's Secret"-like tresses.

"We created a continuous flow of energy with the layout; every space has two ways in and two ways out, keeping energy constantly flowing," adds Henty. He and Jaclyn selected specific crystals to be tucked away inside the walls of each room, giving each space its own positive vibes. The duo also stayed true to the personality of the building (an officially-designated historical landmark), keeping original features like the red brick exterior and restoring parts of the interior. "The interior is classy, simple and elegant. Splashes of color provided by neon signs and pop art bring the space to life," continues Henty. "Think New York crossed with London, with a relaxed California attitude. That's how I see it anyway!"

As far as services, BOMANE (which means "beautiful hair" and takes part of its name from the French word, beau) offers women's and men's cuts ($125 to $250), color ($100 to $175), highlights ($150 to $400), extensions, Keratin treatments, blowouts ($65 and up), and more; the salon also offers hair products by Davines and SHOW Beauty.
