Last spring, we discovered that Golden Goose was setting up shop on Melrose Place. The Venice, Italy-bred luxury label's West Coast flagship quietly opened last September, making it husband-and-wife co-founders Alessandro Gallo and Francesca Rinaldi's 14th outpost worldwide.
Sandwiched between French neighbors Balmain and Frédéric Malle, the window-less boutique offers Golden Goose Deluxe Brand's signature budget-busting, worn-looking leather sneakers for women, men, and kids ($265 to $425 and up) alongside its ready-to-wear and accessories collections. Also on the shelves are exclusive styles available IRL alongside LA-only merch, like white high tops with silver accents and black skate shoes emblazoned with glittered-out stars.
About the interiors: an emerald green velvet couch offers comfy seating for trying on kicks, while an "unexpected marble and glass monolith creates a private dressing room space for accessories." (Fancy.) The walls and racks are accented with acid-etched brass and glass, completing the shop's industrial-luxe look.
Take a peek inside the swanky store and scroll through the gallery above, then see below for the store's address and hours.
Golden Goose Deluxe Brand is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from 12 to 5pm; (323) 424-7453.
