Art enthusiasts across the pond are no strangers to The Other Art Fair, which has been championing the best emerging talents since arriving in London in 2011. This week, Saatchi Art's inspiring U.K.-bred event makes its West Coast debut in DTLA, where it's taking over the historic Majestic Downtown starting tomorrow night.
Kicking off Thursday, March 15 with a VIP cocktail party from 6 to 10pm, the event continues Friday, March 16 (3 to 10pm), Saturday, March 17 (1 to 10pm), and Sunday, March 18 (11am to 6pm). Attendees can buy the works of 110 rising artists, who'll be offering paintings, photography, prints, drawings, sculptures, and more investment-worthy pieces in a range of styles, some of which you can preview here.
The four-day event will also include a packed schedule of happenings. From live tattooing, immersive theatre and dining, hidden absinthe bars, taxidermy classes, a selfie-ready glitter room, live portrait painting, sound baths, the Limited x Pantone pop-up boutique, and more, the art fair promises a full slate of speaker series, interactive activities, and experiences.
Tickets for Thursday's VIP soirée are $30 and must be purchased in advance; general admission is $15 each day ($13.50 for students and seniors) when purchased online. Otherwise, it's $20 at the door; guests 16 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
