Gigi C Pop-Up at The Grove (Beverly Grove): Shop the new LA swimwear label's sleek laser-cut bikinis and minimalist one-pieces during its week-long pop-up at The Grove. Founded by 17-year-old Gigi Caruso and her mother, Tina (yes, they're The Grove developer Rick Caruso's fam), the brand will host a handful of interactive events, including a blogger brunch, sunset yoga, and more. The label is partnering with Baby2Baby and donating 10% of its sales to the charity; as if that weren't enough, they're offering 15% off to shoppers who mention GROVE15 upon checkout (you can also enter that promo code and score the discount online at Gigi C's website).

Sophia Denim Pop-Up at Fred Segal (West Hollywood): NYC-based designer Sophia Tzelepis' edgy-luxe, vintage-inspired Sophia Denim line is popping up at Fred Segal for two weeks. Ranging from $75 to $675, the "Rock Girls" collection includes dresses and rompers in indigo and ecru, and shorts, overalls, and jeans ranging from boyfriend to bell bottom silhouettes.

Unique LA Mini Market (DTLA Arts District): The massive indie marketplace that began 10 years ago in LA brings a mini version of its small business-focused event to ROW DTLA every Saturday in April and May. From 10am to 3pm, shop clothing, bags, home goods, jewelry, decor, beauty products, and more from local and emerging brands.

EEEEEATSCON Festival (Santa Monica): Over 20 restaurants from LA and across the country will be serving up food and drinks during the one-day foodie fest at Santa Monica's Barkar Hangar. There'll also be live music performances, panel discussions on topics like the state of cannabis and #TimesUp in the restaurant industry, book signings, and more gourmand-inspired, community-centric happenings. General admission is $30 (excludes food pricing) and on-site parking is $10; doors open at 12pm but American Express cardholders can enter starting at 11:30am. We Rise (DTLA): Common and Ty Dolla $ign are set to perform at the LA County Department of Mental Health's 10-day pop-up festival, which also promises a full schedule of exhibits, performances, and more events headlined by some of the biggest names in activism, music, art, sports, and pop culture including Kobe Bryant, Shepard Fairey, Yara Shahidi, Bobby Hundreds, Jesse Williams, and many others. The free, open-to-the-public festivities kick off Saturday, May 19 with a rally from 12 to 5pm outside of Why We Rise's DTLA space (1726 North Spring St.) followed by a teen town hall from 5:30 to 7pm. Over 150 artists will showcase their works throughout the festival, too; check out the full schedule of events here.

Mom&mini Party (DTLA Arts District): Spent QT with your littles (or your mama) during the day-long mama-and-me celebration at ROW DTLA. Bender Yoga will be offering family-friendly sweat seshes (RSVP here), Omamimini will be hosting a handful activities and its favorite kids and womenswear labels for a pop-in shop, Yolk will be hosting a "Made in Mayhem" pop-up and offering gratis snacks and drinks, and dRA will be hosting Sincerelyso's jewelry party. There'll also be portrait sessions by Lilly K Photography (book a sesh by emailing via their website), crafts by Rose & Rex, non-toxic vegan manicures by Priti NYC, and food for kids by Yumi.

DIY Macrame Wall Hanging or Chandelier Workshop with Emily Katz (Arts District): To celebrate her new book, Modern Macrame, handmade guru Emily Katz will teach attendees how to make their own knotted wall art or chandelier. Everything you need will be provided, and guests will bring home a tote bag and inspiration for future projects. The wall hanging workshop takes place from 10am to 1pm and the chandelier-making class is from 3 to 6pm; Katz will also sign her inspiring tome in between seshes (free and open to the public). Workshops are $200 each and tickets can be purchased here.
