Kule's Colorful Striped Tees and Cheery Accessories Have Taken Over A Post Office In Brentwood

If you're wondering how to pronounce New York-bred designer Nikki Kule's last name, just think like a Californian. (Hint: It's "k-YOOL", not "kewl.") As it happens, the CFDA-approved talent is popping up with her playfully preppy line, Kule, right here in the Golden State.

True to its cheeky personality, the luxury label — which counts Paris and style icons Jane Birkin and Alexa Chung among its fashionable influences — has taken over the shelves of Brentwood Country Mart's very own post office. (Yup, you read that right.) Holding court now through April 2019, the shop stocks the brand's signature stripe tees ($88 to $128) and Love sweaters ($158) alongside accessories like socks ($38), scrunchies ($18), canvas and shearling totes ($168 to $398), and its cruelty-free faux fur scarves ($198).

The six-month pop-up also carries exclusive SoCal-inspired pieces, like a Brentwood t-shirt and limited edition tees with cheery greetings like "Oh Hey LA" and "Oh Hi Ojai."

Kule began her eponymous brand as a luxe children's label in 2001, and its success led to her acceptance into the CFDA. She relaunched Brooks Brothers' boys collection in 2009 and designed the iconic American brand's first-ever girls line; in 2011, Kule expanded to women's ready-to-wear.
