Linda Farrow's fashionable frames are now outfitting cool eyes on Melrose Place. The London-bred label's new LA outpost has taken over Bookmarc's former space on the stylish stretch, where nearby neighbors include Martha Medeiros, Glossier, Maria Cornejo, A.P.C., and many others.
Featuring luxurious raw-meets-refined fixtures made from pink marble, polished concrete, onyx, and brass, the 1,055-square-foot space offers the brand's statement-making women's and men's optical and sun collections, including its frames with 24-karat gold, platinum, and rose gold lenses and collabs with Alessandra Rich, Dries van Noten, N21, and Matthew Williamson. (Of course, there's a nod to California's indoor/outdoor lifestyle with potted foliage.)
The shop originally opened in 2016 at Platform in Culver City before it relocated to its new digs in West Hollywood, making it the brand's only West Coast outpost and third standalone storefront in the U.S. Founded by Farrow in 1970, the luxury eyewear brand was revived in 2003 by her son, Simon Jablon, who has served as creative director and tapped cult-cool labels like The Row, 3.1 Phillip Lim, and Ann Demeulemeester (to name a few) as collaborators.
