The holiday shopping season has unofficially begun. If you prefer to hunt for luxe gifts surrounded by twinkling lights and festive scents (hello, pumpkin spice everything), consider making your way over to Melrose Place. The stylish stretch's boutiques have joined forces for#MelrosePlaceAfterHours, a weekly series of retail therapy soirées in the spirit of Chrismakwanzakkah (or whatever you choose to celebrate).
Every Wednesday through December 19, select stores will keep their doors open until 8pm and treat shoppers to free drinks and bites, gratis beauty treatments, fashion-focused panels, gifts with purchases, and (from what we're told) "many, many Instagrammable moments." Luxe beauty haven Violet Grey will be serving wine from Landmark Vineyards, while stores like The Apartment by The Line, Cotton Citizen, Frame Denim, Isabel Marant, Linda Farrow, Marni, and Rachel Comey are just a few that are extending their hours. (Even TheRealReal down the street is joining the party.)
For shoppers in need of more nourishment beyond canapés, Alfred Coffee (along with its pink sister shop Alfred Tea) and Moonjuice will also be open late.
