Arcona Brings Organic Enzyme Facials & Natural Glow-Giving Treatments to Beverly Hills

Long before "green beauty" became a marketing buzz word, German facialist Arcona Devan was transforming the faces of Angelenos (including famous ones) in her Valley Village studio with her organic, plant-based treatments and products. Though she passed away in 2004, her age-defying serums live on in her namesake brand and Arcona Studio, which recently made a move inland (presumably much closer to its starry clientele like Mandy Moore and Regina King) from its longtime Santa Monica digs to Beverly Hills.

Open on Robertson Boulevard as of last October, the luxe skincare sanctuary offers a full menu of organic and natural treatments using chirally correct products (translation: they're molecularly appropriate for the human body), like the Signature Facial Contouring ($105), a deep muscle face massage that blends acupressure and lymphatic drainage (exclusively available at the studio), and the 80-minute Red Carpet Radiance treatment ($198), and a brightening and sculpting facial that includes the contouring massage, oxygen spray, and LED light therapy.

Other 50-minute facials that'll give you #theArconaglow include the European Deep Cleanse ($95); the Organic Enzyme Peel ($128), which helps to repair sun-damaged and dull skin by dissolving dead skin without the use of harsh chemicals; and the Four O'Clock Flower Rosacea Facial ($118), which uses botanical lipids and a mild enzyme peel to balance and hydrate skin affected by rosacea; to name a few.

Also on the menu are full-body enzyme peels and seaweed treatments ($130 to $140); a variety of massages, hot stone therapy, and reflexology services ($50 to $190); waxing and brow shaping ($12 to $30); and add-ons like hand and eye treatments ($15 to $18) and skin cell-renewing oxygen spray ($20).

Soon to come is the studio's therapeutic infrared sauna, which will be housed in an aromatic Canadian cedar cabin. It'll cost you $30 to sweat it out in the relaxation box, which will safely raise your body temps in order to strengthen and detox your immune system.

On the shelves, find Arcona's line of skincare, haircare, and body products (which are beloved by stars like Rachel Zoe, Anna Kendrick, and Katherine Heigel, and many others), which are free of chemical stabilizers, parabens, sulfates, fragrances, dyes, petrochemicals, binders, fillers, and other toxic ingredients. Expect to shop bestsellers like the cranberry cleansing Triad Pads ($36), Peptide Hydrating Complex ($76), and the soothing White Tea Purifying Cleanser ($42) alongside just-launched products like the Celestial Activating Essence ($52) and anti-aging Wine Oil ($58).

The brand was originally founded in 1989 by Devan, whose holistic and effective East-meets-West facials drew in celebrity clients like Anjelica Huston, Diane Lane, and Julia Roberts, according to Women's Wear Daily. Company vice president and esthetician Chanel Jenae and CEO Kevin Anderson took over the business when Devan passed away; since then, they've revamped product packaging and grown the business exponentially.
