You Can Finally Shop Mejuri's Wallet-Friendly Gems IRL at Its First L.A. Showroom This Weekend

Back in July, we revealed that Instagram-beloved Mejuri was opening its first L.A. showroom on Melrose Avenue. After a bit of a delay (the store was originally set to open in early August), the Canadian-born direct-to-consumer jewelry brand — which was recently worn on the red carpet by Dakota Johnson and Michelle Williams — is finally slated to bring its affordable fine jewelry to our city IRL Saturday, September 21.

The approximately 1,600-square-foot space will house a piercing station and showcase the minimalist, ethically-sourced label's full collection of sustainably-made earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, and anklets, including its engagement gems and best-sellers such as its ear party-ready gold hoops and huggies, zodiac necklaces, stackable rings, and more ($29 to $2,000). Mejuri's candles, jewelry boxes, and travel cases ($40 to $150) will also be on the shelves.

The cash-less boutique (yup, it only takes cards or Paypal) also houses a styling bar, where accoutrements experts can help you stack and layer your way to your adornments A-game, and it's filled with plenty of photo-ready corners, thanks to a sun-welcoming skylight.

As previously mentioned, there is indeed a catch: You can't go home with your gem haul — instead, your purchases will be shipped directly to your addy via next-day delivery. This is where the piercing chair comes in: Buy a single or pair of 14k gold studs ($69 and up) and you'll get pierced with them for free.

That's not all: The store will play host to a regular schedule of stylish events, starting with its grand opening festivities. Beginning at 11 a.m. when doors open, be among the first 300 shoppers and you'll score a free keychain and tote bag.
