Here's something that'll really help you enjoy that extra hour of sleep when Daylight Savings Time ends this weekend. Now through Friday, Dec. 27, sustainable direct-to-consumer brand Ettitude is popping up on Abbot Kinney, bringing its online-only bedding, sleepwear, and loungewear to its first-ever brick-and-mortar shop (albeit a temporary one).
The L.A.- and Australia-based vegan and cruelty-free label is known for its organic breathable bamboo sheets ($65 and up for fitted sheets, $138 and up for sets), which require 1/10th less water to manufacture than cotton bedding, feel as smooth and soft as silk, and are anti-microbial. Stylish slumberers will find all of that and the rest of Ettitude's Oeko-Tex-certified (read: chemical- and synthetics-free) waffle bath towels ($10 to $50), women's and men's pajamas and robes ($35 to $85), baby bedding ($25 to $45), and travel and sleep accessories ($15 to $60), all of which are usually only shoppable via screen. Oh, and there's even a nap-ready bed, should you feel inclined to really settle into the eco-friendly goods.
The shop's dreamy interiors were inspired by the elements of earth, air, and water — and low-waste enthusiasts will also sleep easy knowing that in addition to offering paper-free transactions, the earth-conscious space features FSC-certified bamboo modular shelving. Just like its e-comm site, Ettitude's IRL store also donates 1% of sales from its bedding to environmental nonprofit organizations.
Throughout its Venice stay, the store will also host community-minded events, including late-night Friday shopping parties and more. Keep an eye on its pop-up shop page for more details here, and scroll through the gallery above to see more inside the oh-so-relaxing bedding haven.
