While we can't restock our wardrobes at Fred Segal (or at any other non-essential L.A. store, for that matter), we can shop for pantry staples at the iconic retailer's eatery. Like many restaurants across the city, the department boutique's Tesse Café and Bakery has swapped its coffee bar and dining tables for a fully-stocked corner grocery store.

At Tesse Market, expect to find the restaurant's usual offerings of house-made bread, pastries, vegetarian-friendly soups, condiments, and more alongside fresh produce (like fruits, veggies, truffles, elephant garlic, and more), ready-to-cook chicken breast and prime NY steak, cheeses, eggs, butter, olive oil, and other organic foods and ingredients sourced from local farms. There's also toilet paper and self-distancing household must-haves like liquor, wine (including $20 and $40 bottles), beer, and bottled water.

The gourmet market is only taking e-payments for now. And though you'll need to window-shop Fred Segal IRL from the other side of the glass, the department boutique is still open for business online.
