Bite's Lipstick Customization Bar Relocates from Larchmont to Orange County

Good news for OC beauty buffs (and not-so-good news for Los Angeles lipstick lovers). Two years after bringing its custom lipstick bar to Larchmont Village, Bite has relocated its L.A. Lip Lab to Irvine Spectrum, marking the cruelty-free Canadian beauty brand's first-ever mall outpost.

Located by Nordstrom and conveniently across from Sephora, the 1,300-square-foot-space features a reimagined lipstick customization experience for remixing Bite's best-selling Amuse Bouche shades. A curved beauty bar houses 11 Color Expert Stations equipped with LED mirrors, allowing makeup mavens to play with the brand's full range of pucker pigments.

Pricing is $60 for one custom lipstick or $120 for two custom colors and a lip care kit comprised of mini versions of Bite's lip primer, lip scrub, and agave lip mask. Customers can select from a range of nude, pink, red, or blue shades and finishes such as luminous, matte, satin, or sheer. You can also choose a floral, fresh, or fruity flavor before your concoction is whipped up in a high-speed mixer that'll blend your personalized shade in just five seconds. Finally, you'll pick a name for your custom creation to be engraved on your lippie's tube.

In addition to offering one-on-one lipstick making sessions, Lip Lab by Bite also books group events for bridal parties and other gatherings, though clearly those are on hold for now.
