Looking for your next perfume and pandemic escape? Find both at Gucci Beauty's new interactive pop-up at The Grove, a pastel-drenched fantastical world celebrating the line's new Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum, available at Nordstrom for $108-$138.
The pop-up, open to the public now until Friday, January 7, immerses scent lovers in Gucci's latest olfactory masterpiece, a floral yet delicately sweet scent with notes of white gardenia, pear blossom, jasmine, and brown sugar. Floral wallpaper and visuals starring the campaign's muse, Miley Cyrus, bring the bottle's design to life. Partnering with the "Wrecking Ball" crooner makes perfect sense as the perfume's product description notes it was "made for free-spirited women full of positive energy."
IPad stations reveal details about Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia and its ingredients while a QR code gives way to the Gucci Flora Instagram filter. Get some more good stuff for the 'gram at the pop-up's Purikura photo booth – a popular Japanese photo booth that lets you edit your photo and print it out as a sticker. Then head to the Gucci Flora Room, a vintage video game-inspired area where you can create and grow your own Flora pet after you leave (accessible via a QR code on dedicated leaflets).
Makeup lovers will appreciate the pop-up's AR tool that enables virtual try-on of Gucci Beauty makeup, as well as in-person makeup stations and customized makeovers.
A luxury floral bouquet is included free with select purchases and gift-wrapping services are available. The pop-up is also handing out Flora gift bags to sweeten the experience.
