Break Up Bar (Melrose): The Break Up Bar is back and taking over Palihotel Melrose for a pop-up experience. Celebrate Anti-Valentine's Day by checking out their wall of broken relationships, eating delicious bites, and sipping on champagne. Book now for $22 per person.

GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar Pop-Up Roller-Skating Rink (Santa Monica): Gillette is hosting an outdoor roller-skating rink activation in Santa Monica. The activation will feature guest appearances from athletes and influencers local to L.A. and the skate community. There will be a pop-up barbershop with celebrity barbers from the Gillette Barber Council. Sign up for the free event here.

Unleash the Rose by Diptyque (Beverly Grove): Diptyque has a new scent called the Eau Rose eau de Parfum. To celebrate they are teaming up with Fabrice Pellegrin for a new pop-up experience at the outdoor plaza. Stop by and smell all the different scents including the new Eau Rose.

Aqualillies Synchronized Swimming Classes (DTLA): The world-renowned synchronized swimming performance company, Aqualillies is taking over Hotel Figueroa's coffin-shaped pool for an 8-week synchronized swimming class series. Intersecting Identities Opening Night (DTLA): Curated by Arushi Kapoor and Tina Tangalakis, "Intersecting Identities" is an exhibition of artworks by 12 international contemporary artists representing the African Diaspora. The artists are Annan Affotey, Glenn Hardy, Tosin Kalejaye, Victor Ubah, Adulphina Imuede, Jupiter Lockett, Clarence James, Rufai Zakari, Michelle Okpare, Chiderah Bosah, Ametefe Kukubor, and Idris Habib.

Arielle Pytka: Archipelago Continuum opening at Just One Eye (Sycamore District): Avant-garde boutique Just One Eye presents French-American multimedia artist Arielle Pytka's solo exhibition of large-scale paintings created during the pandemic. Inspired by Southeast Asia (where Pytka lived part-time for five years) and the sea and stars, the artist's pieces "navigates the journey of an adventurer and cartographer through paint and canvas to places unknown–perhaps here on Earth or in another galaxy." The exhibit will be on display through Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
