Vancouver-Based Luxury Lifestyle Label Oak + Fort Comes to the Valley

Minimalists—make room for more of what you love. Woman-founded, Vancouver-based luxury lifestyle brand Oak + Fort has launched a pop-up store at Westfield Topanga & The Village. The new location is the label's third brick-and-mortar in L.A.—with others located in Century City and Santa Anita—and its 27th location in North America.

Oak + Fort, which was founded in 2010 by Min Kang, prides itself on providing a one-stop shopping experience that offers everyday essentials reimagined with a modern minimalist approach for women and men.

According to WWD, the label grew by a staggering 132% in the U.S. market in 2021—due mostly to the surge in online shopping during the pandemic lockdowns—and is expected to grow by about 30% this year. That growth is evident in the brand's recent opening of several brick-and-mortars at locations including Tyson's Corner in Virginia and at Westfield Santa Anita mall in Arcadia. The brand is betting big on the in-store experience, with plans to open a total of nine retail locations in 2022.

Its Westfield Topanga pop-up kicked off with a celebration on Thursday, May 19 that included live music, sips, custom treats, and the opportunity to meet the Oak + Fort leadership team visiting from Vancouver.
