Minions, Jurassic Park, and More Iconic Films Get a Streetwear Spin at New Universal CityWalk Store, Univrs
The store brings beloved characters from across the NBCUniversal ecosystem to life through limited edition streetwear drops.

Some of the most iconic on-screen moments are springing to life through streetwear at Univrs, a new store at Universal CityWalk Hollywood. Each season, the shop will debut limited edition drops of apparel and collectibles ranging from $30-$100 inspired by beloved NBCUniversal brands and characters including Minions, Jurassic Park, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Felix the Cat, Jaws, and more.
Unisex tees feature Big Lebowski, Hot Stuff, Richie Rich, Fast & Furious, The Breakfast Club, and Universal Monsters while the classic Felix the Cat appears in a variety of colors and patterns in a varsity-style aesthetic across beanies, skirts, shirts, jackets, sweaters, tees, and more. Good Luck Trolls combine with positive affirmations and tie-dye for a collection of sweatshirts, sweatpants, tees, and totes.
Created with casual and super fans in mind, Univrs also spotlights local and international artists. Los Angeles-based artist Jason Keam created a selfie wall mural for the store to celebrate the 40th anniversary of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. His work will inspire designs for exclusive apparel and totes in the future.
"Growing up in Southern California, much like the kids in the film, I craved inspiration, friendships, and adventure all the while staying connected to my family and community. My hope is that my artwork and involvement in this project conveys a playful spirit, sense of wonder, and connection to our homes, no matter the galaxy," said Keam.
Additionally, UK-based French artist Marylou Faure and Korean illustrator Sambypen worked with Universal on designs inspired by Minions: The Rise of Gru that have been applied to various streetwear styles such as bucket and corduroy hats, crop tank tops, matching sweatshirt and pant sets, tracksuits, tees, and more.
Unvirs is located adjacent to Universal Studios Hollywood's main entrance and shoppers don't need a theme park ticket to enter the store. Click through the gallery above to see the streetwear styles available to shop exclusively at Univrs.
