626 Night Market Mini (Santa Monica): The highly popular 626 Night Market Mini Series is returning to Santa Monica. The Friends Experience Pop-Up (Lakewood): The popular Friends Experience is heading to Long Beach for the summer. Fans of the hit show can revisit some of the series' most iconic moments with this interactive experience created by Original X Productions (OGX), Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment and Warner Bros. Mastro's Ocean Club's Prix-Fixe Summer Menu (DTLA): Mastro's Ocean Club is now offering a prix-fixe summer menu for $80 per person available now until September 29. The multi-course menu features a choice of an appetizer such as: Lobster Bisque (+$10), Spicy Mambo Salad and Shrimp Cocktail, an entree such as the 16oz Double Cut Pork Chop, Petite Filet, Herb Roasted Branzino, a choice of two small sides including Black Truffle Butter Sautéed Wild Mushrooms and Creamed Corn, and a selection of dessert including the Personal Signature Warm Butter Cake. The True Cost Screening (Woodland Hills): Film buffs and fashion activists can check out a screening of the documentary, "The True Cost." The True Cost offers an eye-opening look into the clothing we wear, the people who make them, and the fast fashion industry's impact on our world. Directed by Andrew Morgan and starring Livia Giuggioli, Vandana Shiva and Stella McCartney, the movie shares the story of the Rana Plaza garment factory collapse in Bangladesh. 2nd Annual Bananas Splitty in the City 1K (Chinatown): Hosts of the Bananas podcast on Exactly Right, Kurt Braunohler and Scotty Landes will host the "2nd Annual Bananas Splitty in the City 1K" in Los Angeles. The downhill .621 mile event will begin at Frogtown Brewery and end at The Elysian, where Kurt and Scotty will record a live episode of their podcast. Participants in this non-competitive, un-race for the untrained are asked to come dressed as a banana or in a banana-adjacent costume. Tickets are currently on sale for $25 and can be purchased here.
