Equiano Rum Co.+ On The Pass – VIP Juneteenth Dinner (Marina Del Rey):
To celebrate Juneteenth, Equiano Rum Co. and Gabriel Ornelas of On The Pass teamed up to host a private dinner featuring flavors from the rich heritage of Africa and the Caribbean. "We were delighted to work with Gabriel Ornelas, the On The Pass team and Chef Jazzy Harvery to curate this unique and truly exceptional Juneteenth dining experience," Aaisha Dadral, Co-founder at The Equiano Rum Co. said. The "Freedom of Spirit" menu included delicious items like the wet fried Red Snapper and the Seafood Egusi Soup, and was prepared by Chef Jazzy Harvey. "I carefully crafted a menu that not only compliments the flavors of Equiano Rum, but also showcases the flavors, traditions, and journey of Olaudah Equiano's life, taking diners on a gastronomic voyage from West Africa to the Caribbean, America, and finally the UK, " Harvey said.

Where You Stand: Chinatown 1880 to 1939 Exhibit (DTLA): Union Station is showcasing a year-long temporary exhibit called Chinatown 1880 to 1939. The exhibition invites guests into the center of this once vibrant community of families, businesses and associations through historic photographs, oral history recordings and augmented reality.

Wednesday, June 19

National Martini Day at Videre (Wilshire): June 19 is also marked as National Martini Day! Stop by Kimpton Hotel's rooftop restaurant and bar, Videre and order a $10 martini. They will be offering four different flavors, so come prepared to celebrate.

National Martini Day at Negroni (Beverly Hills): Another spot celebrating the delicious cocktail is Beverly Hills' Negroni. They will be introducing the new Our Pornstar Martini, made with Tito's vodka, passion fruit, vanilla yogurt and Prosecco. There will also be more martinis available including a Cacio e Pepe Martini.

"The Pop Out – Ken & Friends" Concert (Inglewood): In honor of Juneteenth, L.A. rapper Kendrick Lamar will be hosting a hometown concert at the Kia Forum. Don't miss K. Dot performed his greatest hits alongside Mustard, Dj Hed and many more surprise guests. Tickets are sold out but fans can tune in on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch and Prime Video.

Summer Solstice at Ocean Prime (Beverly Hills): In honor of the summer solstice and it being the longest day of the year, Ocean Prime Beverly Hills will be extending their happy hour until 9 p.m. Guests can enjoy the new happy hour specials all night long, while also enjoying live music in their Apex Lounge.

Stella Artois and FX's The Bear Chaos Menu Dining Event (Private Location): Stella Artois is celebrating FX's The Bear with a special chaos menu inspired by the series. In advance of the series' highly-anticipated Season 3 premiere on June 27, exclusively on Hulu, Stella Artois will pay homage to "Carmy" and "Sydney's" innovative style through a fusion of fine dining and casual food. This event is invite-only but fans can enter for a chance to score an invite here. The invite includes a multi-course dining experience by James Beard Award-winning chefs Chris Bianco (Pizzeria Bianco) and Justin Pichetrungsi (Anajak Thai) and a chance to meet actor Corey Hendrix.

World Yoga Day with Equinox (WeHo): This World Yoga Day on June 21 – Equinox is partnering with Andaz West Hollywood to host a morning yoga session on the hotel's stunning sundeck, amidst panoramic city views. Pride on the Promenade (Santa Monica): Downtown Santa Monica, Inc. (DTSM, Inc.) announced the return of Pride on the Promenade, part of the city-wide SaMo Pride celebration. This lively free block party will transform Third Street Promenade into a colorful celebration featuring a concert experience presented by OUTLOUD and produced by JJLA, with musical performances headlined by Jessica Wild of RuPaul's Drag Race and RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.
