Charge Up To Kickoff (Multiple Locations): Football is back! And to hype up the Bolt Fam, they are hosting a week-long event series ahead of Kick-Off around SoCal. Memnon at the Getty Villa (Malibu): Getty Villa's outdoor classical theater program returns! Each fall, this series features a classical tragedy or comedy in the Getty Villa's dramatic Outdoor Theater, a venue modeled after ancient Greek and Roman theaters. Memnon is presented by The Classical Theatre of Harlem, an American theater company that tells stories through the lens of the African diaspora. Grab your tickets here!

Holy Water x Gay Men's Chorus Los Angeles "Sing out, Louise!" (WeHo): Holy Water is debuting a boozy fun give-back cocktail – Sing out, Louise! All of September, every time someone orders the specially named cocktail, Holy Water will donate $5 to Gay Men's Chorus Los Angeles. "Sing out, Louise!" ($16) is made with Meili Vodka, Campari, Raspberry Gomme, Kola syrup, Lime and Club Soda. It's available as a refreshing mocktail as well.

Beachside Beats Fest (Long Beach): Beachside Beats Fests Main Stage concerts happen once a month with a stage set up by Urban Outfitters supplemented by a mini concert by the Grand Staircase with solo, duo, or trio performances for the Beachside Beats "VIBES". Guests are allowed to bring low-profile lounge chairs to enjoy these outdoor concerts at 2ND & PCH. This week's performance will be RnB Nights with the Acoustikero Duo.

Zibby's Bookshop Presents: Rebecca J. Sanford in conversation with Hadley Leggett (Santa Monica): Zibby's Bookshop is celebrating the release of The Disappeared by Rebecca J. Sanford and All They Ask is Everything by Hadley Leggett. The Disappeared is a dazzling historical tale of one woman's fight for survival, a grandmother's search for her child and grandchild, and an adoptee's journey of self-discovery, set during Argentina's Dirty War period. All the Ask is Everything is a stunning portrait of motherhood, following three very different women battling for custody of the same two little girls. Rebecca and Hadley will discuss their debut novels, share advice for aspiring authors, and talk about Rebecca's extensive research in Buenos Aires interviewing women who "disappeared" during the Dirty War. The conversation will be followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.

Metro Art Presents: The Last Repair Shop (DTLA): Metro Art Presents is hosting a free screening of "The Last Repair Shop" including a conversation and live musical performance. Watch the Academy Award®-winning documentary short about L.A.'s craftspeople who keep the city's music alive. The evening will also include live orchestral performances of songs from the film and an enlightening conversation between featured instrument repair artists Dana Atkinson (Strings) and Duane Michaels (Woodwinds), student instrumentalist Ismerai Calcaneo (Saxophone) and editor of "The Last Repair Shop," Nick Garnham Wright (Executive Creative Director of Breakwater Studios).
