Booze, Bites & Frights 2025 (L.A.): Los Angeles' immersive Halloween experience for guests 21 and older is back, featuring themed nights, horror film screenings, celebrity Q&As, and interactive activations. Costumes are encouraged, with prizes awarded for the best looks. The event kicks off on Thursday, October 16 with Sneak Preview Night presented by Bloody Disgusting, showcasing "Terrifier 2." On Friday, October 17, Opening Night presents "American Psycho" 25th Anniversary and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, hosted by Lionsgate. Halloween Horror Nights 2025 (Hollywood): Halloween Horror Nights returns to Universal Studios Hollywood for another terrifying season filled with all-new haunted houses, scare zones, and live entertainment. This year's lineup includes chilling experiences inspired by Fallout, Five Nights at Freddy's, Terrifier, Jason Universe, and Poltergeist, plus the return of the Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse. Guests can also experience The Purge: Dangerous Waters stunt show and the debut of Chainsaw Man: The Chaos, a horror anime short. Expect an unforgettable blend of horror, music, and mayhem — including original scares scored by SLASH himself.

New this year: Spookley the Square Pumpkin Celebration, the Bone Brothers Talking Skull Quartet, and playful Heckling Pirate Talking Skulls. Fan favorites like the Waterfront Pumpkin Patch and O.P. Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld San Diego (Mission Bay): San Diego's largest and most twisted Halloween event returns as Howl-O-Scream marks its fifth year of fear at SeaWorld. Descanso Gardens Carved (La Cañada Flintridge): Come discover a mesmerizing pumpkin wonderland featuring a new route, and even more pumpkin fun! The new Descanso Railroad will be specially lit for Carved, and a family of wood spirits carved from five enormous logs by Chainsaw Jenna will add a touch of playful mischief to the event.
