Westsiders have more ways to jet over to Sin City and Arizona like a celebrity.
JSX has expanded its nonstop service out of Santa Monica Airport (SMO) with more flights to Las Vegas and a new nonstop route to Scottsdale (SCF), Ariz, with fare starting at $215 per person one-way. The hop-on air carrier's SMO services take off Jan. 22, 2026, while flights to Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) to Vegas will be increased to three daily beginning on Feb. 5, 2026. Santa Monica's flights use JSX's low-emissions ATR 42-600 turboprop planes that seat just 30 passengers for comfort and spaciousness.
JSX is known for its quick 20-minute check-in from curb to boarding and hassle-free security. Tickets come with minimum two checked bags (yes, they'll take your golf bags and ski gear, depending on the weight and size), and luxe amenities such as complimentary cocktails, business-class legroom, free Starlink Wi-Fi in most aircraft, and in-seat device charging, to name a few perks. (DJ superstar Steve Aoki, Kathy Hilton, and Jeremy Renner are just a few stars who've been spotted onboard JSX.)
"Expanding our Santa Monica service is a direct response to strong demand for smarter, more seamless regional travel," JSX CEO Alex Wilcox says in a statement. "By increasing frequencies and adding new nonstop routes, we're giving travelers a faster, more comfortable way to connect to the destinations they love. With increased service to Las Vegas and new nonstop access to Scottsdale, JSX continues to redefine what short haul flying can feel like."
The public charter service operates in the Los Angeles area from private terminals in Burbank (BUR), Santa Monica and LAX, and throughout California from Carlsbad (CLD), Concord/East Bay (CCR), Monterey/Carmel (MRY), Napa (APC), Orange County (SNA) and Oakland/San Francisco (OAK). JSX's destinations to and from Southern California include Reno, Nev.; Taos, New Mex.; Salt Lake City; Dallas; Austin; and Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, depending on the airport.
The company has been named Five Star Regional Carrier by Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) for the seven consecutive time this year.
