Los Angeles label Sanctuary has debuted its first-ever store.
The 30-year-old fashion brand's 2,000-square-foot flagship is now open on Beverly Drive and features its latest women's ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories alongside exclusive capsules and a curated selection of upcycled vintage pieces.
On the racks, find Sanctuary's California-cool spring 2026 womenswear collection, Smart Creation line of pieces made from recycled and low-impact materials, and more, such as bubble T-shirt dresses made from organic cotton, lightweight button-downs and floral-printed jackets and shorts made from sustainable linen, light blue lace-trimmed slip skirts, ivory satin track jackets and pants, and (of course) effortless denim in barrel, wide leg, utility, and slim straight silhouettes.
Designed in collaboration with renowned global firm Valerio Architects (which has worked with Bulgari, Golden Goose, and Brunello Cucinelli), the store was guided by Feng Shui principles of creating balance and "chi" – or energy flow – as seen in sleek architectural curves inspired by the flow of water, wood fixtures juxtaposed with stuccoed blocks, and brushed brass hardware against sun-washed stone.

Sanctuary's new boutique also houses a sculptural art installation – titled "Love & Hero" – by costume designer Sam Adair, whose statement-making pieces have been worn by Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Christina Aguilera, and others.
Founded in 1997 by married duo Ken and Debra Polanco, Sanctuary became known for its pants before expanding into ready-to-wear, swimwear, shoes, and accessories. Though the brand is stocked at Nordstrom, Revolve, Bloomingdale's, and Anthropologie (to name just a few), Sanctuary's L.A. flagship gives it the freedom to showcase its collections in a space of its own design codes.
"Opening our first retail location is very personal to me," Sanctuary co-founder and CEO Ken Polanco says in a statement. "This store allows us to connect directly with our community, tell our story in a physical space, and bring our vision to life in a way that digital alone never could."

The label celebrated its first brick-and-mortar with a starry grand opening party on Thursday, Feb. 26, with guests such as celebrity aesthetician Shani Darden, celebrity stylist Allison Bornstein, environmental activist Leah Thomas, and model Rocky Barnes (who all star in the label's spring 2026 campaign), as well as singer Katharine McPhee Foster, dancer and former The Talk host Amanda Kloots, actress Kayla Ewell and others. The fete kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Beverly Hills Mayor, Dr. Sharona Nazarian, and Beverly Hills Chamber President and CEO Todd Johnson. Partygoers enjoyed decadent bites from L.A.'s AndSons Chocolates and ROE Caviar while DJ Dana Boulos provided beats.
