On Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3, guests can enjoy live performances from a patriotic brass quartet while strolling the marina, browsing local boutiques and lingering over waterside meals.

Fourth of July Weekend Screenings at Rooftop Cinema Club (DTLA): Rooftop Cinema Club is turning the holiday weekend into an open-air film series under the L.A. sky. Set against sweeping city views and a 24-foot LED screen, guests can kick back in deck chairs with wireless headphones and a curated lineup of cult classics and summer favorites. The highlight of the weekend is a special screening of "Independence Day" on the Fourth itself, a perfectly on-theme watch as fireworks light up both the screen and the city skyline.The holiday programming also includes "50 First Dates" following late night, plus a full weekend slate featuring "The Sandlot" and "Do the Right Thing" for those extending the celebration beyond.

Independence Day on the Back Bay at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina (Newport Beach): For a Fourth of July that feels like a full-on coastal escape, Newport Dunes delivers a weekend on the water complete with live music, food trucks, watersports and one of the most anticipated fireworks displays in Newport Beach. Taking place over the July 4 weekend, the waterfront celebration invites guests to kayak, paddleboard or cruise Newport Harbor in a Duffy boat, spend the day at the Inflatable Aquatic Park and catch live performances ranging from DJ sets to high-energy cover bands. As night falls, the sky over the Back Bay lights up with a fireworks show co-sponsored by the City of Newport Beach. Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy food trucks, a full bar with beer, wine and cocktails, and live entertainment including DJ yo-b1 and The Class.

Subtronics at Exchange L.A. (DTLA): Exchange LA kicks off Fourth of July weekend with a high-energy late-night set from Subtronics, bringing his signature bass-heavy sound to one of Downtown Los Angeles' most iconic nightclub venues. Set inside the historic Spring Street building, the night is designed for a full-scale club experience complete with bottle service and VIP sections for groups looking to elevate the evening. This is a sold-out show, with a waitlist available for last-minute access. Entry requires valid tickets purchased through official channels only.

Celebrating 25 years of the beloved animated classic, the evening brings together swamp-side humor, early-2000s nostalgia and a touch of chaos as Shrek's quest for love and solitude unfolds in an iconic open-air setting. After the film, guests will be treated to a professional fireworks display lighting up the Hollywood sky.

BAILE WORLD 4-Year Anniversary ft. Zack Fox, Parris Goebel & Bianca Oblivion (DTLA): BAILE WORLD returns for a high-energy Fourth of July weekend takeover celebrating its 4-year anniversary with a late-night dance floor built on Baile Funk, ghetto tech and global club energy. Founded by LA native DJ Cquestt, the party brings together a stacked lineup including Zack Fox, Parris Goebel, Bianca Oblivion b2b Cquestt, Discnogirl and Casamiento for an all-night session at Don Quixote in DTLA. The park transforms into a star-spangled summer takeover featuring DJ dance parties, themed entertainment, lawn activities, character meet-and-greets and limited-time holiday treats across the resort. The night culminates in a fireworks spectacular that bursts into 3D LEGO® bricks with the help of special viewing glasses, making it one of the most playful Independence Day displays in Southern California.

Stereo Punks & Orlove By Day Present Young Franco 4th of July Pool Party (DTLA): This Fourth of July involves rooftop views, poolside cocktails and a soundtrack that keeps the party going all afternoon at the Golden Hour at Level 8. The open-air rooftop pool destination is celebrating the holiday with Australian DJ and producer Young Franco, whose signature mix of disco, house, hip-hop and dance music sets the tone for an unforgettable summer celebration. America's Block Party: July 4th Benefit Show at L.A. Memorial Coliseum (Exposition Park): Celebrate America's 250th anniversary at the historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum with America's Block Party, a star-studded Independence Day benefit hosted by Queen Latifah and featuring performances by Chris Stapleton, The Smashing Pumpkins, Maren Morris, Anthony Ramos and special guest Chaka Khan. The day kicks off at Block Party Village with free food, games, giveaways and community programming before transitioning into a full-scale live concert experience, followed by fireworks and a drone spectacular lighting up the Coliseum sky. Proceeds from the event benefit Giving 4th and Feeding America, making the celebration both a cultural moment and a nationwide call to give back.

Steven Spielberg's 1992 classic transforms the iconic cemetery lawn into a cinematic island escape, where genetically revived dinosaurs run wild and a tropical storm turns paradise into chaos. Guests can picnic on the grass and revisit the film's legendary suspense, all on the big screen where it belongs. The night closes with a fireworks display lighting up the Hollywood sky.

Summer Block Party at 600 E 1st St. (DTLA): Kick off July with a laid-back but high-energy Summer Block Party in Downtown L.A., bringing together some of the city's most beloved bites, coffee culture and community energy. The evening features food from local favorites including Tacos 1986, Porto's Bakery, Eat Soula and more, plus drinks from Omsio and Fly by Jing for a casual, walk-around tasting experience. Coffee lovers can jump into a latte art challenge with $500 in prizes on the line, adding a playful competitive edge to the night. Guests who share the event to their story and tag organizers in advance can also redeem a complimentary OG hand roll from Uoichiba. Admission is free.

Headlined by The Rusties, the night builds toward The March of Freedom, a sweeping visual experience honoring America's 250th anniversary through 250 years of history, freedom and progress. Produced by Skye Elements Drones, the show transforms the night sky into a choreographed storytelling moment above Downtown Culver City.
