Soho House's Newest Wellness-Forward Outpost in L.A. Will Debut Its First Health Club Cafe

Hot off the heels of announcing its Palm Springs getaway, Soho House is opening a new coastal outpost to serve Los Angeles' creative class.

Soho House Venice Beach is expected to debut summer 2027 with the members-only club's first-ever Health Club Cafe, which will serve "a nutrient-rich menu, smoothies, matcha, soups," functional drinks and more offerings developed with local wellness experts and "organized around morning, noon, and night" for sit-down or take-away enjoyment. It takes over the 23,000-square-foot space formerly occupied by NeueHouse, which abruptly closed all of its locations after filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy, per PageSix Hollywood.

Similar to Soho's other spaces, the beachside oasis will house gathering and working areas, health-forward food offerings, and an outdoor terrace for dining and cocktails on the top floor. The wellness and workout studio will offer daily workouts and mindfulness classes; a communal 50-person suite with a hammam, sauna and cold plunge; and a private suite with cryotherapy, an ice bath room and a minibar. There'll also be a fireside relaxation lounge and a regular schedule of community events geared towards fostering connection and collaboration among Soho's discretion-minded guests. (Think: everyone from Hollywood stars and A-list athletes, to musicians and behind-the-scenes superstars across fashion, entertainment, beauty, media, sports, and other creative industries.)

Members will be able to enjoy a year-round calendar of events, from creative workshops and talks to recovery-focused experiences, such as private and social contrast sessions, breathwork, sound baths, expert residencies, and more. The Venice club is located just off Pacific Avenue at 32 17th Ave., just a few blocks from the eclectic seaside town's famed sign and not far from Abbot Kinney.

Founded in 1995 by British restaurateur Nick Jones, Soho House began as a private club upstairs from his Cafe Boheme in Soho, London. It now operates more than 40 private spaces around the world; Jones stepped down as CEO in 2022 after getting diagnosed with cancer (he's now cancer-free) but retains a minority stake and remains involved in Soho's creative direction and membership. Soho House was acquired by MCR Hotels in 2025 in a $2.7 billion deal and is back in private ownership after going public four years prior; Ashton Kutcher will also join the board.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Sasha and Malia Obama, Kate Moss, Kendall Jenner, Eddie Redmayne, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Justin Timberlake are just a handful of stars who are reportedly members or who have been spotted at Soho clubs.

Applications are now open for Soho House Venice; membership fees generally start at $3,000 for single-house access and $6,000 for Every House (which includes global access to all Soho locations). The Venice spot will be Soho's fifth L.A. location, joining clubs in West Hollywood, Downtown, and Malibu.
