Didn't Get Your Invite to Sunset Tower's VIP Spot? This New Furniture Collab Is the Next Best Thing

The iconic Art Deco hotel's collection with Lulu & Georgia features the same pieces seen in its private event space.

We love supporting local businesses — and sharing what to buy from them. All products or services are selected independently by our L.A.-based editorial team, and we may earn a commission when you purchase through our links.

Sunset Tower's newest collaboration grants you VIP access to one of its rarely-seen spaces – with the help of one of Los Angeles' most stylish home furnishings e-tailers.

The legendary West Hollywood getaway tapped celebrity interior designer Lisa Koch to reimagine its private event space, Duke's, with Art Deco-inspired furnishings that live up to its glamorous history. Think: rose velvet dining chairs, aluminum bistro tables, ivory linen sofas finished with dark brown piping, and matte black metal coffee tables finished with travertine tops. And for those who've yet to score an invite to the swanky indoor-outdoor spot, consider Lulu & Georgia's exclusive new collaboration as the next best thing partying like a star at the Hollywood-loved hotel.

Priced from $44 to $5,098, the L.A.-based online retailer's Sunset Tower collection comprises exclusive pieces seen throughout Duke's, including the Westlawn sofa, the Lanata outdoor coffee and side tables, the Leni outdoor sofa, and the Bedell dining chair. The collab also includes decor for completing the look, such as polished steel serving strays, Ferm Living wine glasses, sculptural vases and candle holders, indoor/outdoor aluminum side tables by Amber Lewis x Four Hands, and other luxe finishing touches.

Duke's at Sunset Tower was named after Hollywood cowboy John Wayne, who once lived at the hotel's penthouse. Designed by architect Leland A. Bryant and formerly known as The Argyle and the St. James Club, the Sunset Strip landmark has been home to no shortage of stars since it opened in 1931. Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, and Frank Sinatra are just a few who've resided there, while modern A-listers including Pedro Pascal, Gwnyeth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, and Chris Pine are among a handful who have been spotted at the hotel and its famed no-photos-allowed bar.

"Sunset Tower Hotel is the epitome of refined glamour and thoughtful design," explains Lulu & Georgia founder and ceo Sara Sugarman. "In every detail, you can feel the time and intention poured into the space. I'm so excited for Lulu and Georgia to be part of the next chapter here."

Lulu & Georgia celebrated its new hospitality collaboration with a chic launch party last week at Duke's, where guest enjoyed Sunset Tower menu favorites such as French fries, sliders, mac and cheese balls, and other bites.

This isn't the first time that Koch has dreamed up luxe spaces for Sunset Tower owner Jeff Klein. The hotelier also hired the L.A. designer to work on his L.A. manse and San Vicente Bungalows' Santa Monica outpost.
