Inside & Other Stories' First LA Boutique in Beverly Hills

American expats in Scandinavia may be well acquainted with janteloven, the societal standard that encourages citizens to stay humble and courteous. We're guessing that's the reason behind & Other Stories' latest low-key openings, which includes the Swedish brand's Beverly Hills boutique that debuted with zero fanfare a few weeks ago.

Landing at the corner of North Beverly Drive and Brighton Way, the 5,700-square-foot space is inspired by the Art Deco architecture of Downtown LA and the greenery of the west coast. While the seafoam green exterior mirrors DTLA's historic Eastern Columbia building, the interiors feature sleek wood and metal fixtures accented with potted succulents.

As far as merch, expect to find the H&M-owned label's full womenswear, footwear, and accessories collections alongside a fully-stocked beauty and apothecary department, where you'll find everything from makeup and nail polish to hand soaps and body oils. Although & Other Stories ditched the fancy grand opening bash, the brand is treating shoppers to 10% off when they subscribe to its email newsletter (simply send a text to 70703 with the word "Stories" and your email address), donate used clothing, or return its beauty containers to the brand's recycling program.

Oh, and if you snoozed on the Swedish label's Co-Lab with LA's Rodarte, we hear that the collab may make an in-store appearance at & Other Stories' sale in January.
