Rabid consumerism got you feeling all existential this holiday season? You'll be happy to know that nothing is for sale at Joymode's Silver Lake pop-up shop, which officially opens today.
The DTLA-based startup is like an event rental company and fun coordinators all rolled into one, offering experiences ranging from kids birthday parties to backyard BBQs. The pop-up allows "shoppers" to test out things like camping gear, scooters, and giant Jenga games, which non-members can enjoy for a $25 guest pass (membership is $99 a year).
The shop will hold court through December 31st.
