Inglewood keeps raising the bar, and the latest addition will blow fans away. Enter Cosm Los Angeles- the summer's new experiential hub that joins the likes of SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater, and the recently opened Intuit Dome. Speaking of Dome, Cosm is our city's take on the Las Vegas Sphere and is a technology-advanced venue that's planted right in the center of Hollywood Park. Picture this: an 87-foot curved LED dome that gives you the sensation of sitting in the front row at Cirque du Soleil or right on top of the UFC Octagon, all while relaxing in movie-theater-style seats. Traditional live-streaming and traveling for entertainment experiences are out, as Cosm offers a revolutionary way for Angelenos to be a part of the show without the stress of being at the show. Now, heading into the fall season, Cosm is ramping up its programming with an exciting lineup that includes College Football and NFL games, ensuring sports fans have plenty to look forward to.
"As someone who grew up in Westchester, seeing the transformation of Hollywood Park into the sports capital of the world has been incredible," said Corey Breton, Head of Venues for Cosm.
"With the opening of the Intuit Dome and now Cosm, we're offering the most technologically advanced experience that's completely changing how people watch and engage with entertainment.
The rebranding of Inglewood as L.A.'s newest entertainment center has been in the works for nearly a decade. From Clippers owner Steve Ballmer's acquisition of the Kia Forum and opening of the Intuit Dome to the development of the Sofi Stadium, the city has been locked in on transforming. With these venues, came the development of many retailers within the Hollywood Park area including Cinépolis, Iconix Fitness and more.
Fans were treated to a towering, 87-foot dome that delivered an unprecedented immersive experience, making them feel as if they were in the front row of the octagon with the fighters themselves. With its curved LED technology screen, advanced sound system and dynamic camera angles, Cosm leverages cutting-edge technology to enhance the viewing experience. The success of Cosm's summer programming, including "Orbital" by Planetary Collective and Director Guy Reid and "LIQUIDVERSE: Microcosm & Macrocosm" by Ricardo Romaneiro, highlighted the venue's potential as a cutting-edge destination for a new audience.
"Cosm offers a choose-your-own-adventure appeal that attracts a diverse audience, allowing guests to select experiences that resonate with them," said Breton.
"We're seeing a lot of crossover and collaboration, and as we shift our focus, we're placing a greater emphasis on creating value for sports fans. With upcoming programming featuring college football, the NBA, soccer and more UFC, we're excited to welcome audiences who are ready for an electrifying sports experience."
With multiple screening sections, expansive restaurant-style seating, and seven full bars, fans are loving the Cosm experience beyond the screen. The venue features two sections, "The Dome" and "The Hall," where guests can watch shows and indulge in a drink or a few bites with their convenient in-seat and on-app ordering menu. Plus, before or after the show, guests can visit the rooftop bar and lounge areas that offer stunning views that elevate the entire outing. Now, what's on the menu? While Cosm's programming captivates audiences with experiences from around the globe, its food offerings celebrate the vibrant culinary scene of Los Angeles.
"There's a lot of thought and international influence in our food and beverage program," said Breton, Head of Venues for Cosm.
"We've hired an L.A.-native chef to curate a menu that's both accessible and reflective of our city's cultural impact. It's not just about high-end dining; it's about enjoyment. For instance, our Street Dog features high-end wagyu beef, showcasing the creative spirit of Los Angeles."
As Cosm continues to usher in a new category of entertainment in Inglewood, fans can easily secure their tickets for live sports and entertainment experiences now. Ticket prices vary depending on event. For most of our sports programs, they start at $11 for access to The Hall (not including The Dome), and $22 for General Admission access (including The Dome). With a lineup that promises to thrill audiences, Cosm is poised to become a staple in the city's vibrant entertainment scene.
