Warby Parker's Fourth LA Spectacles Shop Will Even Have Its Own Green Room

It opens this Saturday on Melrose.

For its fourth Los Angeles optical outpost, Warby Parker is going beyond just adjusting our peepers. The socially-conscious eyewear brand debuts its latest City of Angels location this Saturday on Melrose Avenue, and its Hollywood-inspired spectacles shop will even house its very own green room.

Landing across from the Pacific Design Center in Seize Sur Vingt's former space, the West Hollywood boutique will feature Warby Parker's full collection of vintage-inspired and modern optical frames and sunglasses for women and men. An optician will be on hand to make adjustments (you'll need to bring in your own prescription, though); specs with prescription lenses will be shipped to your door within a few days but non-Rx glasses can be taken home right away.

About that social media-friendly green room: shoppers can record 15-second videos set to whimsical backdrops, including a giant pepperoni pizza, palm trees, a tropical aquarium, and more. Should you decide to get creative with your digital clips, there'll be plenty of green props on hand, like sunnies that your eyes with your fave background or a green blanket for covering whatever body parts you wish to disappear.

As far as the rest of the store, expect Tinseltown-inspired decor touches like a classic theatre marquee out front and movie clapboards inside. The interiors also feature an original mural by LA artist Alia Penner, who also created a whimsical weather map and more backgrounds for the green room.

To toast its fourth LA shop, the brand will offer a special Snapchat filter. Hit up the store all weekend to Snap the occasion see the exclusive location-specific design.
