As thrilling as it sounds to fake your way through the concierge and crash our city's many stylish hotel pools, taking the risk can be a stressful experience (eagle-eyed security doesn't eff around!) — the exact opposite of the care-free daycation you're aiming to achieve in the first place. New LA-based startup DayAxe is now giving R&R seekers access to the spas, cabanas, and gyms of SoCal's most luxurious staycation spots without the need to book a pricey hotel room.
The just-launched platform currently offers all-day amenity access passes and cabanas for $15 to $50 and up for hotels like the Beverly Hilton, the Ritz-Carlton, InterContinental in Century City, Fairmont Miramar Santa Monica, Hyatt Newport Beach, Riviera Palm Springs, Manchester Hyatt San Diego, and more. While the passes allow you to enjoy the spa, it's worth noting that you'll need to cover the spa service fees on your own.
Heading out of town? The service is expected to launch in 40 more major cities over the next year and a mobile app is set to arrive early next year.
That's not all: DayAxe is offering UncoverLA readers an exclusive 25% off their first purchase, just in time to make the most your summer. Now through Friday, September 15, use code UNCOVERLA at checkout to score the discount. (Missed the deadline? Use code HWIUB92R for $5 off your first purchase.) Ready to relax?
