DTLA's Broadway is becoming quite the international style destination. Joining the buzzing block is minimalist-cool Swedish label COS, which debuts its third Los Angeles boutique in the historic Olympic Theatre today at noon, joining the brand's other LA outposts in Beverly Hills and at the Beverly Center.
Known for its minimalist-cool aesthetic, the H&M-owned brand (whose name stands for "Collection of Style") brings its full women's, men's, and kids collections to the dreamy DTLA space, not far from fellow Swedes Acne Studios, Australia's BNKR, and French label A.P.C., to name just a few. COS studied archived photos in order to restore the building's facade and sign to their original color scheme and look, while the interiors nod to the space's history with dramatic theatre-like lighting and a modern proscenium and the upstairs mezzanine offers a view of the ground floor below.
Take a tour of the boutique and scroll through the gallery below, then swing by the shop Thursday, September 14 for COS' grand opening bash. From 6 to 9pm, enjoy food, drinks, music, and retail therapy as a way to welcome the brand to its new DTLA digs.
