After making its grand début at Platform earlier this year, Modern Artisan Marketplace returns to the cool Culver City lifestyle center with even more rad local vendors. Happening Saturday, September 30 (10am to 6pm) and Sunday, October 1 (10am to 5pm), the bazaar promises over 55 local artists, designers, and makers, 95% of whom are women. (Hear, hear!)
Founded by dRA designer Diana Ra (have you visited her dreamy DTLA boutique yet?) and Ahyoung Kim, the two-day market promises womenswear from Arch the Label, Backbeat Rags, Corey Lynn Calter, Echo + Air, George Loves, The Odells, and more; loungewear by Lunya; kids clothing by boy+girl, Nico Nico, Noble Carriage, and more; footwear from Lou Earl Shoes; and jewelry, bags, and accessories by Clau, Katie Dean, Tiffany Kunz, and Nomah Project; to name just a few. As far as beauty and apothecary, find fragrances by Orris Perfumery and Persephenie, skincare by True Botanicals and Pistache Skincare, and Korean beauty products by Skinesque.
In addition, expect home goods, furnishings, and decor from Folk Project, Moss Los Angeles, Local + Lejos, Vía Ráiz, and Electric Sun Creative; art by Print Club Ltd. and Sweet Llamita; handmade pottery by A Question of Eagles and Mt. Washington Pottery; plants by Rolling Greens and Pop-Up Greens; and many more.
That's not all: There'll also be a full schedule of hands-on workshops and interactive experiences. To see the full roster of vendors and happenings, head over to Modern Artisan Marketplace's website.
