Remember that Saved By The Bell-inspired café that was slated to pop-up in Los Angeles? Well, the day is (almost) here: Saved By The Max will officially serve grub to Bayside High LA foodies starting Tuesday, May 1.
Per an email blast sent out today, Saved by The Max tickets go on sale this Friday, February 2 at 9am. SBTM tells us that the "First Semester" will run in LA through October as part of "the official first stop of [the pop-up's] road trip around the country." The Chicago-bred eating experience will hold court at West Hollywood Gateway, the shopping center at Santa Monica and La Brea Boulevards that's home to Target, Best Buy, BevMo, and a slew of other big brand chain names.
The SBTM café will offer "the finest in chef-driven diner [fare]" created by Michelin-starred chef Brian Fisher, including A.C. Sliders, the Kelly Kapowski Montecristo ( "prosciutto, gruyere cheese, Kewpie mayonnaise and whole grain mustard with spicy maple syrup," according to the Chicago pop-up's menu), the Bayside Burger, Mac & Screech, Preppy BLT, and Tori's Fried Chicken.
The throwback space will feature "rare memorabilia, scripts, and everything Bayside-related," and will also host events and themed nights alongside DJs and celebrity guests — which we're betting will include the most of the O.G. cast, given that LA is the home turf of SBTB stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Elizabeth Berkley, Mario Lopez, Tiffany Amber Thiessen, Lark Voorhies, Dustin Diamond, Ed Alonzo, and Dennis Haskins, to name a few.
While you wait for the café's tickets to drop this Friday, you can get pumped by stocking up on Saved By The Max merch — like red tees for $25 and hoodies for $45 — over on the cafe's website.
