Green juice spots are seemingly more ubiquitous than Starbucks in wellness-obsessed Los Angeles, but how many of them can say they have the approval one of the world's biggest tech companies? Five years after serving up healthy, cold-pressed sips as Clover Juice, the LA-based company has a charming new look and name: Say hello to little WEST.
Standing in their La Brea shop's refreshed digs, married founders Cassandra Troy Walker and Andrew Walker tell us about their many proud moments as Clover Juice, like nabbing a big name customer in Silicon Valley. But after parting ways with their business partner over a year and a half ago, the duo decided it was time to start fresh for the brand's next chapter.
Named after the cool couple's adorable son, little WEST still cold-presses the same tasty juices that they're known for — they're just bottled up with a coastal-cool new label. The brand also reopened its flagship shop (which shares a door with equally wellness-obsessed neighbors Modo Yoga) and expanded its food and retail offerings.
On top of whipping up mouth-watering superfood shakes (like the moringa-powered Mighty Leaf, the strawberry-infused Maca Me Nuts, and the Rise & Grind coffee with ashwagandha and lucuma, to name a few) with plenty of add-ins available (think adaptogens like lion's mane and reishi mushrooms alongside chia seeds and collagen pepties, to name a few), the charming spot now serves up sweet and savory superfood toasts that'll be offered in seasonal flavors, too.
The menu still includes the brand's classic juices, plus matcha, turmeric, and lavender chocolate lattes (which can be ordered iced or hot); kombucha on tap; bulletproof coffee; and immunity-boosting shots.
The shelves also cater to enthusiasts of healthy living: Expect to find grab-and-go food from M Café in the cold case and pints of Van Leeuwen artisanal ice cream in the freezer alongside non-toxic essentials like deodorants and serums from Ujjayi, towels from Slowtide, vegetarian and paleo cookbooks, Siete grain-free tortilla chips, SQIRL jams, Babyganics sunscreen, and much more.
Looking to reset your system? You can also pick up little WEST's cleanses, like the protein-rich Beginner and Intermediate options ($60) or the deep-detoxing and alkalizing Advanced kit ($62). For busy-bee wellness junkies, the shop also offers online ordering for pickup within 15 to 20 minutes or delivery in a little over 30 minutes depending on your location — making it super easy to eat your greens, and then some.
