Moncler Genius has landed in Los Angeles. The Italian outerwear brand took over Maxfield last night to toast its latest collection dreamed up by California-inspired luxury label Palm Angels (whose designer, Francesco Ragazzi, is also Moncler's art director), one of eight international talents that reimagined the brand's classic down jackets.

It was all part of Moncler's bicoastal launch party for its latest range of collaborations, which also include capsules designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli, 1952, Grenoble, Simone Rocha, Craig Green, Noir Kei Nimomiya, and Fragment Hiroshi Fujiwara. At last night's soirée, A$AP Ferg performed for a streetwear-happy crowd that included model/actor Luka Sabbat, Riverdale's Madelaine Petsch, model Shaun Ross, and no shortage of fashion-faved celebrity spawn.

Inside Maxfield's pop-in space, partygoers played dress-up with Moncler Genius pieces, like Palm Angels' "Make It Rain" tee ($315), track pants and sweaters with red striping ($930 and up), above-the-knee parkas ($1070), and anything-but-casual sweatpants alongside embellished floral dresses and puffy pink coats by Rocha, colorblocked jackets by 1952, and a flower-quilted black hoodie by Ninomiya, to name just a few.
