Rebag's First LA Luxury Resale Boutiques Feature Rainbow Walls of Birkins

While we're firm devotees of tidying queen KonMari's minimalism mantra, it ain't always easy to let go of a non-joy-sparking Chanel or Hermès purse, no matter your budget (or lack thereof). High-end, eco-minded handbag shopaholics will be happy to know that Los Angeles' thriving luxury resale scene is now home to Rebag, which has débuted not one, but two new boutiques (both the retailer's first West Coast outposts) in our city.

Located on Melrose Place (in Anya Hindmarch's former space at 8461 Melrose Pl.) and in Beverly Hills (9546 Brighton Way), both stores soft-opened last month and offer pre-loved, guaranteed authentic carryalls by the aforementioned names as well as Balenciaga, Céline, Chloé, Fendi, Givenchy, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Moschino, Prada, Saint Laurent, Valentino, and many others. Both shops also house an entire wall filled with iconic (and budget-busting) Birkin bags in rainbow order. How's that for Instagram-friendly?

Bag aficionados who prefer an endless rotation of new accoutrements can exchange their Rebag purchases both in-store or online within six months for shopping credit worth at least 70% of the item's original price. The retailer's in-store Rebag Bar will get sellers in and out of the door within an hour: Simply bring in your bag and should it get the stamp of resale approval, you'll get your credit on the spot or receive a bank transfer or check payment by the next business day.

Having non-buyer's remorse after eyeing a bag in store? Every item on the brick-and-mortar shelves are also shoppable on Rebag's digital ones on both its website and mobile iPhone or Android app. Sellers can also unload their legit goods online and get paid within one or two business days once their items are approved and accepted.
