Following last year's sold-out debut, Refinery29's psychedelic photo-ready wonderland is back in LA. From Wednesday, December 5 through Sunday, December 9, the online platform's immersive installation 29Rooms returns to Downtown, and this time it's taking over The Reef for five days of creativity, community, and culture.
The brand is once again collaborating with a handful of insanely creative talents and nonprofit organizations to dream up interactive modern art spaces for its five-day #ExpandYourReality experience. The ACLU, textile artist Uzumaki Cepeda, colorful illustrators Egle Zvirblyte and Jose Roda, NYC nightclub House of Yes, and sculpture and sound artist Aaron Taylor Kuffner, among others. Guests can explore the same rooms that popped up at the event's New York happening, including a sonic sanctuary, an inner beauty ball, a teenage bedroom, and a multi-sensory ASMR tunnel that you'll have to experience blindfolded, to name just a few—plus 13 more brand-new corners.
Timed entry tickets are $40 for general admission (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and $70 for VIP After Dark entry (7 to 10 p.m., excluding Sunday), which includes two drink tickets, access to exclusive pop-up performances, live DJ sets and dancing, live art sessions, and more.
