Oz-based Melanie Grant tends to the visages of Victoria Beckham, Karolina Kurkova, and Aussie A-listers like Nicole Trunfio and Georgia Fowler—and now, luxury-loving beauty buffs in Los Angeles don't have hop on a flight to Australia or France to indulge in her glow-giving facials. The celebrity skincare expert has opened her first U.S. Skin Health studio (and fourth global outpost) in L.A. on star-frequented Melrose Place, where fellow beauty-obsessed neighbors include Kate Somerville, Violet Grey, and Glossier.

"I've always maintained a highly personalised approach to treating the skin and this is reflected throughout our treatment menu," Grant tells us. "My philosophy has always had a foundation in the idea of clinical beauty, that is, the marriage of the very best in skin improvement protocols [and] technological advancements with my heritage in traditional beauty. For me, there's so much possibility when you combine the old and the new. This fusion is a natural progression for my work."

The chic Parisian apartment-inspired beauty haven houses vintage and antique furniture from Italy and France (sourced by Grant herself), four treatment rooms, and the esthetician's Skin Care Edit boutique that's stocked with results-driven products, most of which are made in Grant's native Australia. Expect to find skincare from Augustinus Bender, Biologique Recherche, Chanel (for which she's also an official skin expert), Cosmedix, Éminence, Sisley, Skinceuticals, and more as well as Grant's first-ever product, a lightweight, three-in-one moisturizer with SPF 50.

"Clinical beauty guides our treatment offering extensively. It's reflected in our practice through the use of a wide range of techniques and modalities such as microdermabrasion, peels, ultrasound infusions, customized dermal boosters, masking, light therapy, electrical current, radio frequency, lymphatic drainage and European massage," continues Grant. She recommends that first-time clients get the Custom Skin Health Facial, which is "the best introduction to our philosophy, methods, and practice. We also advocate a holistic approach to skin health and education is key to achieving optimal skin health. This is a collaborative effort–starting on the right path really makes a difference when it comes to establishing skin goals and achieving them together."

On the menu, expect to find over 15 different clinical-focused treatments ($200 and up) that target a variety of skin concerns, including an exclusive Chanel Sublimage Grand Soin treatment, the Hydrating Glow Facial (which includes light therapy), the Cleanse & Calm Facial (which uses a Sonophoreisis cleanser and a "nourishing cocktail of dermal boosters" to help soothe seborrheic- and cystic acne-prone skin), and the radiance-boosting Désincrustation Facial (which features diamond exfoliation and a personalized concoction of enzymes, AHAs, and dermal boosters).

The Ultimate Collagen Facial will hone in on enlarged pores, fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, and more, while the Camera Ready Facial is ideal for pre-event prep that'll leave the skin "flawless, clear, and illuminated" (with the help of diamond microdermabrasion, a custom antioxidant peel, and a French face massage).

Everything's also available in an organic option, too: "For those of us that are conscious of our toxic load, our Organic menu provides modern alternatives to classic treatments," says Grant. "These are customised with the high potency botanical ingredients that achieving the results on par with their more clinical counterparts. And as with all our treatments, our Organic menu is beautifully complemented by our holistic and lifestyle orientated approach to skin health."

Should you want to book time with Grant herself, the skin health guru will be in the house once a month to pamper your face or help you create a bespoke skincare regimen. (It's the same service she offers at her studios in Sydney, Melbourne, and Paris.)
