If your Instagram feed is filled with international style stars, then you're probably familiar with Danse Lente, the London-based brand known for its architecture-inspired carryalls. Starting today, artful accessory aficionados in L.A. can shop the label (which means "slow dance" in French) IRL at its first-ever U.S. pop-up shop on Melrose Place.

Holding court next door to Fig & Olive through April 30, the 1,169-square-foot space stocks Danse Lente's resort and spring/summer '19 range of statement-making shoulder bags and more ($430 to $560), like the best-selling Mini Phoebe, the Phoebe Bis, the Johnny (as well as its Mini version), the Jamie backpack, the Adele, the Margot, the Mini Lorna, the Zoe, and the Josh (which is available in an exclusive neon green mesh colorway).

Of course, the sporty shop itself is 'gram gold: The decor features a basketball court-inspired decor, custom-made football benches and wood fixtures, and a motion-activated display of bright blue lockers that reveal the brand's colorful bags.

"I chose Melrose Place as our location for its pretty shops and European aesthetic," Danse Lente creative director Youngwon Kim explains in a statement. "I also admire and am influenced by a lot of artists and sculptors from the Mediterranean and love work that comes from warm countries," she adds, which is why the brand was drawn to sunny L.A. for its first Stateside pop-up.
