DJ-Turned-Designer Harley Viera-Newton Curated This Whimsical Pop-Up on Melrose Place

After popping up in the Big Apple last year, DJ-turned-designer Harley Viera-Newton is teaming with Levi's for another sun-ready shop, this time in Los Angeles. The San Francisco-based denim giant has tapped the London-bred, NYC-based former Internet It girl to curate its month-long pop-up boutique on Melrose Place, which runs through the end of June.

In addition to Viera-Newton's own HVN line of summery silk staples (think vintage-inspired dresses in playful prints of cherries, strawberries, florals, and more; $355 and up) and charming accessories (like scrunchies and scarves; $32 and up), the aptly-named Summer Shop stocks lucite hoop earrings and more jewelry from Alison Lou alongside retro basics, super-comfy sets, and socks ($15 and up) from Liana (whose founder, Lili Chemla, just so happens to be the youngest sister of Alison Lou designer Alison Chemla).

Of course, there's plenty of Levi's picks in the mix, including denim silhouettes like the straight Ribcage, Wedgie, shortalls, Trucker jackets, Levi's Made & Crafted high-rise skirts, and exclusive graphic tees, to name a few. Rounding out the whimsical offerings are colorful beaded bags by Susan Alexandra, heels by Nicole Saldana, lace-up sandals by Cornetti, and adorable ceramics by Katie Kimmel as well as skincare by Dr. Barbara Stürm.

The shop will also host a regular schedule of events, including customization with Levi's, quickie facials with Barbara Stürm, and ear piercing parties with Alison Lou; stay tuned for the full schedule and see below for a few more snaps from inside the space as well as the address and store hours.
