Remember that playful art supply shop that was slated to open in Highland Park? As promised, the creative duo behind cool stationery and gift haven Crush débuted their creativity-boosting boutique, Touch, on York Boulevard in early June. Located just a block away from Crush, the new store took over Possession Vintage's former space next door to Honeywood Vintage.

Co-owned by The Good Twin designer Katie Wilson fine artist Scott Grover, the tiny but mighty store is "an extension of Crush" and stocks supplies for beginners to pros of all ages as well as art prints, pins, and cards. In addition to shopping a rainbow of Holbein gouache paint, Premo clay, Spectra glitters, Goldfaber colored pencils, Caran D'ache oil pastels, and Daniel Smith watercolors (to name just a few), expect to find sketchpads, papers, paintbrushes, sculptor's tools, adhesives, stickers, scissors, rulers, and books for kids.

Inspired? Wilson tells us that the shop hopes to offer its first workshop in late July or early August. Stay tuned for more, and take a peek inside the colorful space and scroll through the gallery above, then see below for the address and hours.

Touch Art Supply, 5119 York Blvd., L.A., 90042; open daily from 12 to 7 p.m.
