Spoke & Weal has become a go-to among fashion and beauty insiders for its creative cuts and color, and now its Los Angeles outpost (one of eight U.S. locations alongside two Spoke salons in Cali) is ready to serve even more Angelenos. Five years after landing in L.A., the cool hair salon chain has expanded its West Third Street space to nearly double the original size — and it's now ready to upgrade your tresses for the summer. (See for yourself and scroll through the gallery above.)

Co-owned by Jon Reyman (a NYFW master hairstylist and Aveda Advanced Academy's former artistic director) and color director Christine Thompson, the salon took over the neighboring space formerly occupied by Milk boutique and now spans 4,800 square feet. The bright and airy Aveda salon boasts 16-foot ceilings, six new skylights (all the better to see your chops and dyes in natural light), 30 chairs, nine shampoo beds, a relaxing lounge area, and a "social bar" where you or a visitor can charge devices while waiting — making S&W perfect spot for an upcoming BFF hair date, no?

What hasn't changed is the menu: Clients can still expect the same high-end haircuts ($75 to $200), custom color ($200 to $350), extensions ($1050), blowouts and styling ($55 to $200), Keratin smoothing treatments ($350), and all-botanical treatment add-ons ($25); cuts with Reyman are $800, color is $600 by Thompson or $450 with master colorist/extensions pro Dell Miller. As far as product, the shelves are stocked with haircare by Aveda, Turbo Power hair dryers, Diana the Hunter ceramic flat and curling irons, and more pro tress tools.
