Freebie-loving makeup mavens, rejoice: After debuting in Los Angeles last year, Sephoria: House of Beauty — the two-day immersive experience from Sephora — is taking over Downtown next month for yet another swag-filled, master class-packed beauty playground.
On Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8, the beauty retailer is transforming the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall into a 16-room wonderland with over 60 interactive happenings and endless photo opps. Expect free beauty services and touch-ups at the Service Vanity, clean beauty products at the Home Spa; make-your-own lipstick stations at the Lip Lounge, a greenhouse-inspired indoor Garden, a relaxing Living Room where you can mingle with fellow eventgoers, and more.
Attendees will also have access to exclusive launches and product previews from Beautyblender, Benefit, Charlotte Tilbury, Drybar, Fenty, Gucci, Ouai, Too Faced, and many others, and there'll be plenty of opportunities to meet beauty influencers and entrepreneurs (like Summer Fridays co-founders Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores Ireland, Too Faced founder Jerrod Blandino, Manny Gutierrez, Nudestix founder Taylor Frankel, and more).
Of course, the master classes are the highlights of the two-day fest — and this is where Sephoria is doing things differently this time around. Rather than offering three ticket tiers, the event will instead be divided into four sessions, with each bookable in general admission ($80) or VIP ($350).
As far as the master classes, Saturday's session one from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (note that VIP is now sold out) will feature celebrity makeup artist Angel Merino, Tatcha founder Vicky Tsai, and makeup artist and beauty entrepreneur Natasha Denona; while session two from 4 to 8 p.m. will feature Glow Recipe co-founders Sarah Lee and Christine Chang, Drybar co-founder Alli Webb, entrepreneur Sophia Amoruso, and Dutch YouTuber Nikkie de Jager (a.k.a. NikkieTutorials).
On Sunday's schedule, session three from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will feature skincare brand founder Dr. Barbara Sturm, star-faved brow pro Kristie Streicher, celebrity makeup artist Patrick Ta, and wellness guru and Moon Juice founder Amanda Chantal Bacon; for session four from 4 to 8 p.m., Denona will return and be joined by Lord Jones co-founder Cindy Capobianco and Briogeo haircare founder Nancy Twine.
